G's favorite activity for girl's day is to go paint pottery with Mom at Java and Clay. She spent her Christmas money from Gramma Rose on the expedition this time, so of course I had to join in the fun.

This is a 45 dollar plate on sale for 15.00... then all pottery sold in January was 30% off. My cheapskates are very happy indeed.
G's horse made me happy. Check out the shading she has going on here. I love watching her think her way through her art. She's so sure of herself.
The colors, once these pieces are fired, will be much darker and a high gloss. I will post pictures when they come back to us.
