I have a penchant for quoting LOTR each day, and on one particularly rough kiddie day, I told Nikirj "Osgiliath is overrun."
It is an appropriate metaphor for our life here!

My nails are dirty
and some of my online friends are complaining.......... that tells me it is truly summer now!
Gardening eats us again.... let's hope the short season still lets us have a crop!
